††† †††††††††LEISURE WORLD ACBL Bridge World news:†† From our regular correspondent, Joan Tschiriki, Hello again!

†††††††† I commented a couple of months ago that in the first six months only one pair achieved a 70% game. Well Katie bar the door!†† We are boasting in the last couple of months Leisure World players have achieved as of this writing FIVE 70%+ games!Congratulations! (And a side game at Irvine's Regional over 70% but disqualified.....ask me about it!)

††† A couple of events to be reported:First was the Club Championship October 8th. North/South winners Jaye Woodington and Joan Tschirkiand East/West winners Stan Blitz and Judy Carter Johnson.Congratulations!!††† The second event was a very special BIRTHDAY. Our Club manager Ruth Kaller turned90 years young! Fourteen tables were present. A lovely, tasty table covered with scrumptious appetizers and wines. We thank for the wonderful celebration of life!The photographs were very special! Happy Birthday! THANK YOU!!
